Posted Dec. 20, 2016

Updated Ministry of Health resources

The Ministry of Health on Dec. 16 launched an updated Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) resource page for patients and families, as well as updated information for providers and links to required provincial forms. These provincial forms are to be used by patients and practitioners from this point forward.

These links are now posted on the CRNBC Medical Assistance in Dying resource page.

MAiD course and clinical decision support tool

A sub-committee of the provincial MAiD provincial working group has created a series of three learning modules, Medical Assistance in Dying: The Role of the Registered Nurse and an accompanying decision support tool. You can access these resources through your Health Authority or the Provincial Health Services Authority learning hub.
